Folder Seminars and projects

Supplying scientific support to policy is one of the core tasks of the National Focal Point Biodiversity. We do this in several ways, such as organising seminars or by developing and implementing projects.

The National Focal Point has repeatedly organised seminars on issues related to biodiversity, either alone or in collaboration with partners. Such events are excellent opportunities to efficiently bring together and learn about biodiversity, and to build on such knowledge, e.g., by formulating recommendations to policy.

Scientific projects allow for in-depth and thoroughly approaching specific thematics. They can also lead to policy recommendations or suggestions for a more efficient protection and sustainable use of biodiversity. The National Focal Point has, as a science-policy interface, expertise in particular on nurturing interactions between public, policy and science.

The National Focal Point is always interested to discuss collaborating with you on seminars and projects.
