Library

The National Focal Point maintains a thematic library on biodiversity and sustainable development. Over 4000 titles (books, magazines, cd’s, maps,…) can be consulted. These concern purchases, but also works that are hard to find, such as publications brought along from conferences in Belgium and abroad, dissertations, reports of Belgian, European or international organisations, etc.

In the federal catalogue www.bib.belgium.be you can recognize works in our library by the reference “Natural Sciences” and the initial letter “R” of the book code (“R” referring to Rio de Janeiro, the place where the Convention on Biological Diversity was agreed).
