This policy brief was created to communicate the highly policy-relevant outcomes of one of the projects of the first call for Measuring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) of biodiversity and biodiversity policy. The project aimed to valorize non-timber forest products used for food and traditional medicine in order to document traditional knowledge and advice the authorities on relevant policies for the sustainable use of biodiversity.
