News Workshop for CEBioS alumni working on taxonomy (GTI)

The second GTI alumni workshop took place in Ouidah, Benin, from 11 to 15 November 2019.

The meeting gathered a total of 11 participants coming from Benin, Burundi, DR Congo and Rwanda.

All of these participants benefited from grants for the reinforcement of their taxonomic skills over the last 3 years through short-term GTI* grants from CEBioS (Belgian GTI National Focal Point).

The objectives of the workshop were to:

  • Help them produce awareness material based on their research results (article + poster)
  • Inform them on communication using the social media
  • Reinforce the GTI network of alumni.

The meeting was jointly organized by CEBioS (RBINS – GTI National Focal Point) and LABEF (Université d’Abomey-Calavi).
