News Series of workshops and trainings at the CSB, DR Congo

A series of workshops and specialised training sessions was organised at the Centre de Surveillance de la Biodiversité at Kisangani, RD Congo, September 25-October 4.  About 100 participants from all over the country attended highly appreciated sessions on Awareness building for school children, the Nagoya Protocol, Project Cycle Management, Scientific Communication, the Governance of Biodiversity, Measuring Reporting and Verification of biological data, searching for funding, the importance of communication and the Clearing House Mechanism. Six CEBioS team members together with colleagues of VVOB-RDC, the Directorate of Sustainable Development of the National Ministry for the Environment of the DRC, ICCN and School Inspectors of the Kongo Central Province made presentations.
