Prize D4D (Digital for Development)
The ‘Prize Digital for Development (D4D)’ is an initiative by Cabinet De Croo and the Belgian Directorate-General for Development Cooperation (DGD). Prize D4D encourages initiatives committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's).
The deadline to apply is 20 June 2016.

Prize D4D is part of the Belgian government’s efforts to raise public awareness on international solidarity, and focuses on digital creativity and innovation in Belgian development cooperation.
Prize D4D aims to:
-
stimulate (new) stakeholders in their activities on digitisation for development in both developed and developing countries,
-
raise awareness among the general Belgian public,
-
structurally work towards linking the theme ‘Digital for Development’ to the programs of the Belgian Development Cooperation.
There are no restrictions as to the chosen themes. Prize D4D is open for all initiatives that striving towards implementing digitisation as a lever for development.
