IPBES (the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Bioidversity and Ecosystem Services) released a "Primer" for their next Global Assessment. It will be the first assessment to systematically include indigenous and local knowledge at a global scale and will help assess progress (or lack thereof) on SDGs, Aichi Targets & Paris Agreement.
The public launch of the assessment is planned for May 6th 2019 at UNESCO world headquarters and it will be webcast live.
