March 20-27 a series of meetings was organised at the Centre de Surveillance de la Biodiversité at Kisangani, in the presence of CEBioS staff (Hilde Keunen), to discuss future strategies and planning as part of the Framework Agreement CSB RBINS (CEBioS). Ongoing CHM and MRV-projects were discussed and preparations were made for the participation of the CSB at the Science and Technology Days in Kinshasa, April 15-18.

March 27-31 CEBioS staff (Hilde Keunen) visited with VVOB-RDC, the ‘Direction du Développement Durable’ of the ministry of Environment, the Dean and the Vice-Deans of the Faculty of Agronomy of the University of Kinshasa, and other stakeholders to strengthen the CEBioS-network and to create synergies to jointly develop relevant activities.
