On November 27th and 28th 2018, the 18th Meeting of Parties of the Congo Basin Forest Partnership (CBFP) was held at respectively the Africa Museum and the Palais d'Egmont in Brussels. The event’s main theme was “Towards a sustainable future for Congo Basin forests, their inhabitants, flora and fauna".

The CEBioS team participated to various conferences (e.g. presentations by Dr. François Muhashy about the “Popularization of synecological knowledge to boost the monitoring of habitat dynamics in protected areas in the Congo Basin”, and by Thibaut Vandervelden about the Evamab project) and side events, but also, presented their work and a selection of publications and videos at the CEBioS booth in Palais d’Egmont, which was well visited.
