CEBioS booth at Bruxelles Champêtre

On Sunday 18 September, 3 members of CEBioS were present at Bruxelles Champêtre (Rural Brussels) on a common booth between the CEBioS programme and the Belgian Focal Point to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD NFP).

One of the main themes of Bruxelles Champêtre 2016 was encouragement and awareness raising of the public to adopt sustainable and healthy ways of living.

The CEBioS and CBD NFP stand promoted the knowledge and respect of biodiversity by different ways: fun games for kids to identify insects, distribution of flyers on the role of bees and pollinators, activities around ecosystem services and the role played by different animals in their environment, etc.

These concepts were also illustrated through awareness posters created by GTI alumni students (more information on GTI, see here).

Finally, we communicated on the new "machine à biogestes" that gives online tips to help biodiversity (more information available here).
