KU Leuven presents MOOCs on Sustainable Development
KU Leuven University is pleased to announce it has produced four unique online courses about sustainable development, for a global audience. These ‘Massive Open Online Courses’, or MOOCs, will be presented on Friday, 22 November 2019 in the Irish College, Leuven, from 2.00 to 4.30 pm

The programme includes the following presentations:
- Welcome by rector Luc Sels
- A look at the KU Leuven MOOCs Team
- The importance of MOOCs for sustainable development, by vicerector Chris Van Geet
- Presentation of the four MOOCs (see below)
- Roundtable on the advantages and challenges of MOOCs within the framework of internationalisation and university development cooperation, moderated by Peter Verlinden
- Reception (from 4.30 to 5.30 pm)
