Brunei Darussalam will become the 191st Party to the CBD

During his visit to Brunei Darussalam, the Executive Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity met the Minister of Industry and Primary Resources, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Vice Minister of Development. He also had a meeting with representatives of stakeholder groups.
Brunei Darussalam has agreed to initiate the procedure for becoming the 191st Party to the Convention on Biological Diversity. An agreement was also reached on ways and means to enhance the collaboration between Brunei Darussalam and the Secretariat of the CBD.
