Folder Belgian Report on the Implementation of the Programme of Work for the Global Taxonomy Initiative (2004)

The Belgian Report on the Implementation of the Programme of Work for the Global Taxonomy Initiative (GTI) has been elaborated as a response to Decision VII/9, point 6 of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity. The report has been elaborated following guidelines provided by the Executive Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity. It has been completed in September 2004.

The format of the report on the GTI is a series of questions designed to facilitate the consideration of the issue of the GTI and its programme of work. In accordance with Decision VII/31, the programme of work has been reviewed in depth by the eighth meeting of the Conference of the Parties in 2006.
