Technology Transfer and Access and Benefit-Sharing for Genetic Resources: Training Course
The training course will provide in-depth training for researchers and scientists to manage their rights and obligations when exchanging genetic resources and genetic data within the latest legal and regulatory environment. The course will be of special interest to researchers, academics and practitioners involved in Access and Benefit-Sharing questions for genetic resources and data.

It is possible to register for one or both modules of the course:
- Managing rights and obligations for compliance with the CBD Nagoya Protocol on access to genetic resources and benefit-sharing (Monday-Tuesday, 10-11 September 2018)
- Rights management for biological and genomic data in the context of digitization strategies in life sciences research (Thursday-Friday, 13-14 September 2018)
Training will be oriented towards practical application in research and based for example on real-world case studies. Top notch experts and speakers from Ghent University and from other universities and institutions will provide in-depth insights into practical Access and Benefit-Sharing questions. All modules and lectures will be held in English.
