Conference on Sustainable Agriculture
As global food demand is likely to rise significantly over the coming decades, sustainability has become a matter of necessity, whilst at the same time also offering a range of opportunities to act.
The challenge for the next 20 years will not only be to satisfy demand for food but to do this in a sustainable manner. We strongly believe that sustainable production practices at farm level in mainstream agriculture are the only way to get there. Sustainable agriculture is about ensuring a balance between the economic, environmental and social aspects of farming.
The CIAA & SAI Platform Conference on Sustainable Agriculture will gather leading industry players, high-level EU officials, various NGOs and academia to discuss and debate challenging issues the food and drink industry is facing today and in the future.
