People, Food and Environment: Global Trends and European Strategies
The XIIth Congress of the European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE) on “People, Food and Environments: Global Trends and European Strategies” will take place between the 26th-29th August 2008, in Ghent (Belgium).
Contributions are welcome on the following (not exhaustive) list of topic areas: Agricultural and Food Policies; Trade, Globalisation and Demography; Environment and Resources; Rural Development; Sustainability; Market and Demand Analysis; Consumer Health and Safety; Agribusiness and Chain Management; Technology, Innovation and Communication; Agriculture and Development; Agriculture and Economies in Transition; Institutions; Methodological Developments. Submissions relating to non-European regions, which have relevance to European issues, are also welcomed.

Submissions for contributed papers: 15th February 2008
Organised sessions: 15th March 2008
