Risk, regulation and democracy: GMOs at the WTO
The Institute for European Studies (IES) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP) organise a joint Policy Forum on Monday 5 February 2007 (12:00 – 14:00), to discuss 'Risk, regulation and democracy: GMOs at the WTO'.

The subject will be introduced by Prof. Geert van Calster (Professor of Regulatory Law at K.U. Leuven, Visiting Lecturer at Oxford University; Member of the Brussels Bar, DLA Piper). The respondent will be Prof. Lucas Bergkamp (Partner, Hunton & Williams, LLP; Professor, Erasmus University Rotterdam).
The event will start at 12:00 with a lunchtime reception, and the talk will start promptly at 12:30.
