Aimed at raising investments for 315 billion and supposed to “create jobs everyday”, after one year of operations the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) still appears questionable.
One year in operation and with the European Commission's legislative proposal for its prolongation on the table (EFSI 2.0),
CEE Bankwatch Network, Counter Balance, Friends of the Earth Europe and WWF will discuss their analysis of the investment plan for Europe and its implications and lessons learnt for EU's climate financing.
