The EU-FP7 funded project SPIRAL (www.spiral-project.eu), the European Environment Agency (EEA) and EU Directorate General Research and Innovation (DG RTD) are organising a joint workshop to explore how the science-policy interfaces of EU-funded biodiversity research projects can be improved to more efficiently support European policy-making processes.

The workshop will build on the experiences and achievements of existing and past biodiversity-related EU research projects, on the SPIRAL project results, on the work of the EEA and DG RTD.  Invited participants will have the opportunity to exchange views, share best practice, and develop new ideas and concrete actions on interfacing science and policy-making.

Attendence is by invitation.
