Study sites--test

The project focuses on four biosphere reserves. Biosphere reserves are nominated under the “Man and Biosphere Programme” of UNESCO. They are “‘Science for Sustainability support sites’ – special places for testing interdisciplinary approaches to understanding and managing changes and interactions between social and ecological systems, including conflict prevention and management of biodiversity” (more information on Biosphere reserves here
