Inception workshop for Global ABS project
The Higher Council for Environment and Natural resources will hold the inception workshop for the global ABS project to strengthen institutional, legal and human resources for implementation of Nagoya Protocolutional. The workshop will be held at the parliament (National Assembly) on 24th May 2017.

The Higher Council for Environment and Natural resources in colloporation with UNDP and the National Assembly will hold the inception workshop for the global ABS project to strengthen institutional, legal and human resources for the implementation of Nagoya Protocol . The workshop will be held at the parliament (National Assembly) on 24th May 2017.
The Objectives of the workshop are:
- Assist national partners in Sudan to fully understand and take ownership of the project;
- Discuss project management, reporting, M&E requirements andfinancial procedures;
- Present the Annual Work Plan for 2017 for approval and validation;
- Clarify the role of the key national actors in the project at both national and local levels.
