News Survey about the future of Biodiversity Conservation Research in Belgium

The Belgian Biodiversity Platform has just launched a survey in order to investigate the views of the Belgian stakeholders about the future of Biodiversity Conservation Research. The survey is open until September 15th, 2012.

The Belgian Biodiversity Platform has just launched a survey in order to investigate the views of the Belgian stakeholders about the future of Biodiversity Conservation Research. Considering the variety of actors in the nature conservation landscape, they would like to gather a maximum of experiences, knowledge and competences reflecting the diversity of views. The Belgian Biodiversity Platform hereby hopes to receive input from diverse actors, including scientists, practitioners, policy makers, business, volunteers, administrators, representatives of NGO's, funding bodies, etc.

This survey is an important opportunity to express your opinion. The Belgian Biodiversity Platform will create tools based on the results that will be distributed amongst the concerned actors, including policy makers dealing with the issue of Nature Conservation.

The Belgian Biodiversity Platform invites you to express your opinion on the following topics:

1. Identification of important conservation issues that should be addressed by scientific research in the future 
2. Identification of the obstacles and opportunities for efficient conservation.
