EBI signs MoU with China-Africa Center for Research and Education

Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute (EBI) signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China-Africa Center for Research and Education (CACCAS) for the scientific research and cultural cooperation of both parties.

Dr. Gemedo Dalle director general of EBI and Prof. Qing-Feng Wang executive director of CACCAS said after they signed the MoU that the two parties agreed to exercise their best efforts to develop cooperation in biodiversity conservation and sustainable use, as we as scientific research in related discipline of mutual interest.

According to the agreement, the cooperation include exchange visits for scientists, researchers, technical personal, biodiversity assessments and digital database establishment, Botanical gardens management, operation of joint training programs for staff and students and other cooperative activities mutually agreed upon a case- by case basis.
